Technical Writer
Overview:
FinteqHub continues to expand the team and is looking for a Technical Writer. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain up-to-date release notes, detailed user manuals, and clear step-by-step instructions, along with external API documentation tailored for Merchant use
- Analyse and improve existing documentation for Merchants to optimise comprehension and usability
- Collaborate with system analysts to refresh and standardise internal knowledge base assets, such as Use Cases, API documentation, database schemas, web-form interfaces, and micro service overviews, utilising templates to minimise technical documentation debt
- Engage proactively with system analysts, software developers, technical account managers, and business development professionals, to ensure cohesive and accurate documentation
Requirements:
- A proven track record in writing user guides in explanatory and procedural styles for diverse audiences
- A strong background in API writing and UX-writing
- Proficiency in writing release notes with clear and concise messaging
- Skilled in visualising workflows and system interactions via BPMN and UML diagrams
- Adept at interpreting technical concepts into accessible business language
- Knowledge of established style guides such as the Microsoft Style Guide or Google Style Guide
- Focused on advancing documentation excellence, including the utilisation of AI and LLM technologies
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and within a team without requiring constant oversight
- English language proficiency at a B2 level or above
- Russian language proficiency at a B2 level or above
Nice to have:
- Experience utilising Git
- Proficiency in managing content on Confluence
- Familiarity with markup languages such as Markdown or HTML
- Comfortable working with JSON and YAML data formats
- Ability to comprehend and interpret Golang and SQL code
- Proficiency with graphic editing tools like Figma
- Experience in writing for the fintech sectorstNG
