The Policy explains what data we collect through our systems, how that data is used during personal data processing, what safeguards we apply to it, and how individuals whose data passes through our website may exercise their rights. When we determine how and why certain data is collected through our website or during interactions with potential business clients, we act as an independent data controller.
FinteqHub also operates as a payment-technology platform and in our core FinteqHub function as a payment gateway, we act as a data processor, handling transaction-related personal data strictly on the documented instructions of our merchant clients, who remain responsible for defining the purposes and means of processing. We encourage you to read our Privacy Policy carefully, as it outlines our approach to transparency, data minimization, secure data handling and explains how we process your personal data. 1. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to personal data that is processed when you interact with the website while submitting inquiry or applying to open positions at FinteqHub.
It does not override any obligations contained in our contracts with merchants, nor does it limit the rights granted to individuals under the GDPR and applicable privacy laws.

3. Our Role as Data Controller and Data Processor
When individuals visit our website, apply for positions, or contact us directly, we act as a data controller. We determine the purposes and means of processing in those contexts.
In contrast, when merchants transmit data through our payment gateway, we act solely as a data processor. We process transaction-related personal data on behalf of the merchant and in accordance with their documented instructions, including the Data Processing Agreements concluded with each of our clients. Please be aware that merchants remain responsible for the lawfulness of collecting and processing such data from their customers.
4. Sharing of Data
We may disclose your personal data where required under applicable law, such as requests from supervisory authorities, tax bodies, financial sector regulators, or law enforcement agencies. Data may similarly be made available to auditors, legal advisors, or other professional service providers assisting us in fulfilling regulatory or contractual obligations.
We also might use services like hosting, IT service providers, IT tools, other services, etc. In the case of the hiring process, we might use our partners. In these cases, such entities act as our data processors, and we conclude DPA and ensure your personal data is processed securely and under instructions by FinteqHub.
5. International Transfers
Your personal data will be processed within the European Union / European Economic Area under GDPR and applicable national laws.

We process your personal data in a responsible and secure way by following our internal rules on the processing of personal data and appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure protection against unauthorized processing, accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration, disclosure or any other unlawful processing. Our Payment Gateway core service security framework is aligned with payment-industry requirements, including PCI DSS, and is subject to regular testing and review.
7. Retention
Retention periods depend on the nature of the data and the obligations arising under applicable law. Once the relevant retention period expires and the data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or permanently anonymized.
