Business Analyst
Overview:
FinteqHub is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to drive the evolution of our payment solutions. You will play a key role in gathering and structuring business requirements, improving payment processes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, including merchants, product managers, engineers, and UX specialists, to ensure seamless and efficient payment experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain business and system documentation, including user stories, use cases, and API specifications.
- Analyze and model payment processes to identify bottlenecks and suggest optimizations.
- Manage operational changes by processing, prioritizing, and integrating them into the product backlog.
- Collaborate with merchants, product, engineering, and UX teams to align requirements.
- Define acceptance criteria for new features and participate in testing and validation.
- Monitor key payment system metrics (conversion rates, declined transactions, processing times) and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with API integrations, define requirements and ensure compatibility with other services.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis in payment solutions.
- Support UX research by testing user scenarios and improving customer experience.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and drive product improvements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a related role within Agile teams.
- Deep understanding of payment systems, acquiring, PSPs, and payment orchestration.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other requirement management tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC fundamentals.
- Strong documentation skills: business and functional specifications, user stories, and flowcharts.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Experience working with APIs, understanding REST, SOAP, and integration principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with UX research and usability testing.
- English proficiency at B2+ level for communication with international partners.
Nice to have:
- Experience in FinTech, e-commerce, or high-load B2B services.
- Knowledge of SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Amplitude).
- Experience with A/B testing and customer behaviour analysis.
- Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (PCI DSS, PSD2, KYC/AML).
