System Analyst

Overview:

FinteqHub continues to expand the team and is looking for a System Analyst. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dive deep into various payment systems like PayPal, Stripe, and others to understand their APIs and work flows.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical specifications for payment integration based on established templates and agreements.
  • Work closely with development team (software engineers, QAs, architect, product manager) and internal stakeholders (psp operations and treasury team) to develop requirements for new features that will give Payment Gateway a competitive edge.
  • Apply your expertise to define effective approaches for solving complex business problems (such as ensuring payments security, increase in successful payments), as well as translating requirements into actionable solutions aligned with technical capabilities and constraints.
  • Participate in peer reviews to improve the quality and accuracy of specifications.
  • Regularly update and improve documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a System Analyst
  • Understanding of payment systems and banking processes
  • Hands-on experience in describing API integrations
  • A strong background in modelling using BPMN and UML (Class diagram, State machine diagram, Use case diagram, Sequence diagram)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful principles and API design best practices
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and transaction coordination patterns
  • Experience in designing logical database models
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to approach complex problems with ease
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks to drive project and team forward
  • At least Intermediate level of English allowing you to write documentation proficiently
  • Russian – native-level proficiency

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payments, such as PCI DSS, KYC, GDPR, and AML
  • Experience in the fintech domain
  • Experience in Domain-driven Design methodology
  • Proficiency in Postman, DevTools, and JSON editors
